Performer Born in the UK in a very Scandinavian household who encouraged creativity from a young age.I studied Art in London, England for one year and furthered my studies at a Spanish Art School on the Island of Mallorca in Spain. In my late twenties I moved to Canada because my heart lead me here, and continued my art Career here just outside Toronto. Daily practices of painting and sketching to constantly improve and learn new techniques, lead to teaching art to kids and adults. Setting goals and challenges daily, weekly or monthly helps in keeping my art practice alive.
Summary Join artist and illustrator, Charlotte Hamilton, in a month of exploring portraiture. Starting with quick sketches, you'll learn the proportions of the face and create portraits in just a few minutes. As you move through the month, you'll build observational skills while working from photos and discover how to use markers and colored pencils to create fun layers of color. Charlotte dives deeper into painted portraits later in the month, using colorful inks and paints to bring faces to life. By the end of this comprehensive series, you'll understand how combine all of your skills to create master portraits of friends and family.
