Summary |
After the untimely death of her best friend Allison, Mary Beth was paralyzed under a tidal wave of grief and depression. But when she discovers Allison's very real, heartbreaking diary footage of her breast cancer journey, she travels to Ireland with fellow filmmaker Alia Tarraf and a group of devoted friends to scatter Allison's ashes on the Cliffs of Moher. On returning home, they find their grief has not subsided. Together, Mary Beth and Alia embark on an odyssey back to Ireland with a "death midwife", psychologist Dr. Staci Emerson, to unravel answers to the complexities of their sorrow to find a sense of hope. This multi award-winning documentary (including Best Documentary awards at the Paris Cinema Awards, the IndieFEST Film Awards, and the Boden International Film Festival) is a moving and uplifting about life, death, and dealing with grief. |
