| Summary |
Witnessing the deteriorating relationship between her parents, a young girl becomes immersed in her own world. Not having the words to express her emotions, she suspects that words themselves may be the problem, so she stops talking. Through her silence, she attempts to influence her parents' behavior to force them to communicate properly with each other and with her. Gives voice to a girl's confusion, cleverness and hopeful joy as she attempts to change her world. |
