Summary A historical novel about the Seneca chief, Red Jacket: The Last of the Senecas recounts the warrior's skills in battle and his signing of the Treaty of Canandaigua in 1794. This treaty helped to secure more land for his people in the state of New York. Additionally, Red Jacket is known for his incredible oratorical style, most famously seen in his speech "Religion for the White Man and the Red."
