The lessons were written for students who are participating in a structured language curriculum due to language delays, ESL/EFL students, and students who are learning/spelling/reading disabled. This book is designed to allow students to apply knowledge of phonetic elements while developing the critical thinking skill of classification. It provides practice in categorization skills, which are the basis for note taking, formulating topic sentences, and outlining. The book is divided into four major sections. Section I is to be used with Units 1-13 of LANGUAGE! The other sections are to be used beginning with Unit 14 in LANGUAGE!
