Many leadership studies either ignore the need for leadership to be properly ecclesiologically grounded and hence risk simply uncritically importing secular models, or put forward a simplistic biblical view of leadership which fails to make creative use of what can be learned from secular studies. To ignore the present context of the Church, as some studies do, is to fail to see how previous explorations of Church leadership are based upon assumptions or presuppositions which are no longer valid thus perpetuating anachronistic models of leadership and the Church that hinder its ability to move forward. The book will attempt to redress these imbalances. 588 0 Print version record. 650 0 Christian leadership. 650 0 Leadership|xReligious aspects|xChristianity. 650 7 RELIGION|xChristian Church|xLeadership.|2bisacsh 650 7 RELIGION|xLeadership.|2bisacsh 650 7 Christian leadership.|2fast|0(OCoLC)fst00859172 650 7 Leadership|xReligious aspects|xChristianity.|2fast |0(OCoLC)fst00994719 700 1 Dodds, Graham. 776 08 |iPrint version:|aDodds, Graham.|tLeadership in the church for a people of hope.|dLondon : T & T Clark, 2011 |z9780567386212|w(OCoLC)729991601 914 ocn730242272 994 93|bGTK
