| Summary |
A Victorian scientist and his young American backer set off in their new earth-boring machine for a short test on a Welsh mountain. Unfortunately, the drill is more powerful than expected and they end up in Pellucidar, a land in an enormous cavern at the center of the Earth ruled by creatures called Mahars who have enslaved Pellucidar's people. Meeting a beautiful woman called Dia, the two surface dwellers lead a revolt against the Mahars' tyrannical rule. |
