Summary |
The Groom wore spurs -- In this delightful commedy, Ginger Rogers plays Abigail Furnival, a tough talking lawyer who falls in love with her client, screen legend Ben Castle (Jack Carson). Love leads to marriage and rogers finds out that while appealing on-screen, Ben is less than charming in real life. Can she turn him into the man everyone loves on-screen? If anyone can, it's Ginger Rogers! |
The Thirteenth guest -- A classic murder mystery, this film stars Ginger Rogers as one of 13 guests who 13 years ago was invited for dinner during which time the wealthy host was murdered. Now the guests are reassembled to figure out once and for all who the cunning culprit really was. At once exciting and bone chilling, this vintage mystery flick features a hooded murderer, a sinister electrocution device, a classic spooky manor and of course the stunning Ginger Rogers as the heroine. A recipe for great entertainment! Also starring Lyle Talbot and Henry Hall. |
Heartbeat -- A romantic drama with Rogers as Arlette, a young pickpocket trained at the finest crime academy in Paris. Charming and beautiful, she is not particularly cunning as a thief and so is caught red-handed on her first attempt - by one of the most influential socialites in Paris (Jean-Pierre Aumont). From pickpocket to debutante, her world becomes an escapade of suitors, parties and romantic encounters that lead to a dramatic conclusion. Features a cameo appearance by Basil Rathbone. |
