Summary A beautiful edition of Lord Byron's completeℓ"Childe Harold's Pilgrimage," containing several illustrations and his dedication, "To Ianthe." Though he had penned numerous works prior to this poem, "Childe Harold's Pilgrimage" is the first of his poems to introduce us to the Byronic hero and is thought to contain many autobiographical elements. It is this poem that catapulted Byron to celebrity. After its publication, Byron wasℓquoted as saying, "I awoke one morning and found myself famous."
