| Summary |
A lonesome monkey escapes from a zoo and an entire country loses its mind in this biting black comedy from filmmaker Vladimir Blazevski. Coco, an inhabitant of the Skopje Zoo, forms a bond with Tsobe, a zoo keeper living in poverty in this cheerless Balkan city. One day, Coco escapes and causes a big media sensation, becoming a symbol of someone who has managed to break away from the oppressive transition government. In the meantime, Tsobe has lost his job due to the adverse economic conditions but is promised to get it back if he manages to track down and bring back the fugitive monkey.
