| Summary |
This hypnotic tone poem confirms Sissako's talent for capturing the essence of a place through evocative imagery, Tatiesque comedy, and close observation of everyday life. Abdallah returns to his homeland, a seaside town of Nouadhibou in Mauritania, for an indeterminate amount of time.
