Summary |
With an essay entitled "The Deluded Sportsmen" and contributions from the Anti-Gambling League, it is clear from which side of the argument Rowntree approaches the matter. However, the collection isℓnot entirely one-sided and isℓrarely unfair. Entertaining, enlightening and sometimes philosophical, this collection takes a long look at the psychology of the gambler, the dark side of the habit and its ills on the world around it. |
