Summary |
The author,â„“Isaac Nathan, was a Jewish composer and friend of Lord Byron. They collaborated in 1815 on the "Hebrew Melodies," during which Byron wrote some of his best-known poems as lyrics to accompany music composed and arranged by Nathan, including, "She Walks in Beauty." In this book, Nathan examines Byron's poetry andâ„“literary criticism of his work, as well as elements of his life, with contributions by Byron's former lover, Lady Caroline Lamb. |
