Summary A brief article furthering the evidence that the Cherokee who settled into the Appalachian mountains in the Southeastern United States did, in fact, stem from the Iroquois of the northern Great Lakes region. He correlates the fact that several Iroquois and Cherokee fables, myths and names for various items in daily life are strikingly similar, despite having an 800-mile gap between the two territories.
