Summary This is the first in a two-volume series of early 18th-century works which describe, in detail, the social, political and geographical state of North America as seen through the eyes of contemporary explorers and voyagers to the New World from Europe. Both volumes contain descriptions of the Native Americans the Europeans came into contact with, including those native to the Toronto area.
